Default Si pistons in a dx block? anybody know if it works?

ok so my friend wants to build a d series for all motor (i know its going to suck) but he has a set of high comp pistons out of an SI and he has a block/crank from a d15b. is this combo going to work? what problems could arise? deck heigth, bore, stroke? he also has a built head for it.
