im looking at buying some new shocks for my civic its looks like a 4wd with my rims on it but iits a toss up between the tokico HP's and the KYB AGX'a the hp's arend adjustable and the KYB's are...has anyone had these on their car or had experience with them?..how do they make the car handle how is the ride?

 

I bought some H&R sport springs and Tokico Illumina struts and I run the struts on the hardest setting all the time. It's a big difference between the softest setting and hardest setting.

 

I run Koni yellows and Ground control coil overs and love'm

 

ya but the illuminas are kinda out of my price range unless i can find something to sell

 

thats what i think im going to buy...my limit is about 300 for shocks and their about that price...then im going to buy some coilovers to lower it a little bit..my car looks like a 4x4 with my new rims on it

 

I have the KYB agx's on my eg hatch with tein spings and it seems to ride good. I run the fronts on 3 and the rears on 2. I like lowering springs better than a coilover because they are not as stiff. just my .02

it really depends on what sping you are using.
AGX are nice enough if ur short on cash, otherwise get the tokico illum. or konis

 

ya the cash is whats killing me....but what springs would you guys suggest... needs about 3" lower so it will look normal
