Anyone here uses a shift lite? If so, which wire is it on the 88-91 CRX that I tap into?

i don't know about the shift lite but for the tach's you tap into the blue wire off of the distributor. please don't get a huge tach

is your crx really that loud... that you can't hear the engine to shift... or does the engine really rev that fast that you need a light to tell you when

I don't see how you can use the factory tach anyways. Those things are so inaccurate. I bought a "monster tach :-X" YEARS AGO thinking I needed it in my DX since it didn't have a factory one. I rarely looked at it. It was mounted down low so it wasn't a windshield banner. ::) I just listened to the motor or watched the speedo. When I hit 35, shift, when I hit 60, shift, when I hit 90, shift, when I hit 110, shift, when I hit the damned speed limiter, slow down. >:((DX gears suck)

Your right Doc.Stock tachs are verry inacurate.when my Fields shows 5100 rpm the tach shows 6k rpm.the spedo is also off by like 5 miles or so.

I have a "proform shift light", I think i connected the wire to the blue wire with a white srip on it. I kinda forgot so i'm not totally sure???
