shaving the block

well i have the block, and head appart should i have the head, and block shaved.
the block is a LS that was leaking oil when the LS head was on there.
I just bot a GSR head, and the guy i bot it from said the head was good.

this my first LS Vtec.
so i am learing as i go.

Re: shaving the block

leave it alone if your going to boost it.
or if you are staying NA, use singal layer headgasket to raise compression.

Re: shaving the block

its going to be boosted.
i was going to use a copper head gasket.
when it was a hole LS it was leaking oil through the head gasket.
so would a block warp or a head first?
