Somebody can help me to set my sprocket i placed the sprocket on 5 degrees advance, but do i have to move the distributor too?, please help me, im lost in this thing.
i have a racing cam shaft too.

Should have posted this once in Tech, but... Yeah, advance your dizzy timing too. Get a timing light and put a couple degrees more advanced than stock.

IMO, you should retard the cam about 3-6 degrees. retarding the cam on a SOHC engine moves the powerband up, and in some cases, has even gained 3-5hp with a stock camshaft.

Advancing cam = better low end
Retarding cam = better top end

my suggestion is just a "baseline" if you will.. a setup that has been known in most cases to provide the most power. The only real way to set a camgear is with a dyno. Some people will argue that you can use a race track to set your cam sprocket too, but cam adjustment gains such a small amount of power in a non-highly-modified engine that inconsistancies in your driving can give you false readings.
