----, i just found out that my oil check light is out and i basically drove the D16 with no oil. Before i knew it the motor stalled when i came to a stop. When i opened the oil cap. All i see was smoke!!! I guess i need another motor. ------- Shiet. I tried starting the car but it wont turn over. It just keeps on cranking but wont start. Damn it. I guess it's a good time for an excuse to get a LS motor that i been dreaming about. haha.

hey, i went to Oil Changers couple blocks away from my house and got my oil changed there. And after driving the car for a couple of days I didnt notice they didnt screw the plug back in tightly. and there it goes. ----... I knew i should have did the oil change myself. Plus they charge $30 for just regular oil. I could have gotten some good shiet like Mobil 1 synthetic. From now on im going to do the oil change myself. Cant trust no one with my car.

Oh and I went back to complain to the manager and they denied everything. ----.

i had a customer who rented a car from us and saying he`s suing some shop with the same reason. and the shop paid him $XXXX dollars right the way. :o

That is the key reason I do everything I can myself or I goto someone that will let me be present while the work is being done so I can see everything.

dont run them low on oil (not even out, just low), hondas run pretty low tension rings so when you run them low on oil they run hot and the low tension rings then magically become ultra low tension rings, so then you use oil like a mofo... ive seen it happen many times

your worried about the pistons, how about the static bearings that all hondas use that require oil in oreder to work.

what kinda shop was it? if it was a jiffy lube they have to pay for a new engine. i worked at one and we had to replace them all the time on my days off. newbies!
