Re:RPM SWITCH
if u get that activated switch for ur mini me dont forget to buy the pills to go with it... thats an expensive way to go if ur goin cheap... summitracing has one with the ---- built in and its alot cheaper.. $45 and u also need a bosh auto relay to send a 12v signal to ur vtec solenoid.. heres a site on the whole mini swap and wat u need to do it..

Re:RPM SWITCH
if have have a tach with shift light u can use that instead of a shift light, but it would be kinda bright to be on from 5000 or so til red line!

Re:RPM SWITCH
so u wanna set ur shift light at like 4400 to make the vtec kick on? itll prolly work as long as its a 12v constant goin to the light.. :) ;D

Re:RPM SWITCH
Forget all of that.. Just go get a push button, about 8' of wire, and run a circut to the VTec solenoid and hold it in your hand while your driving and push it at whatever RPM you want to activate VTEC!
Seriously.. skip the RPM switch, and get a VTec Controller. Yes, it's more money, and yes this site is about "homemade", but rigging your VTec to your shiftlight is just.. well, lame.. |
