i take it noone noticed the ring on top ring. i dont have any of those parts anymore, i was gonna encase that piston, but it got scrapped

Its kinda wore in that area of the burn through, the melted tops indicate some detonation, prolly a combination of that and too close of a ring end gap, I'm guessing it was stock gap for a N/A motor that u either boosted or ran nitrous through without retarding the timing.
