Re:rev-limit on a sohc zc
Rev till something scrapes. As soon as you hear metal on metal that will tell you roughly where you can rev to next time. as soon as you rebuild :P

Re:rev-limit on a sohc zc
6200 damn come on that's nothing. motor is still making power at that point. My built sohc zc with stock valvetrain and a delta 272 regrind sees 8000 everyday. Don't belive the hype that stock valvetrains are weak. They actaully will hold more than people belive. general rule from experince is a 1000 rpm over stock rev limiter is where you can rev on stock valvetrain.

Re:rev-limit on a sohc zc
ya i'd think a ZC is probably same rev limit as an a6.

Re:rev-limit on a sohc zc
i rev my stock sohc zc to 7000 thousand every day and no problems ;i sometimes bounce it off of the 7200 rev limiter when im not paying attention ;D
