repining dizzy

I'm puting a d16y7 into my 91 civic but was wondering if I can use the y7 dizzy and just repin it to the 91 plugs? I hated using the chopped up 91 dizzy on my minime so is the repin possible or work?

i thought the 4g dizzy was a direct bolt on.. i know it has to be modified to fit a z6 but bolts directly to a y8, why not a y7?

You must use a OBD 0 dizzy if you are using an OBD 0 computer. peroid. the OBD1/2 dizzys will not work with an OBD 0 computer.

I fits the same way pretty as if it was in the z6 head. Was the difference between the two dizzys? It was just a pain for me to get that 91 dizzy to stay on the z6 head without it leaking or falling off. Knowing that the crx dizzy dizzy matches up perfectly with a y8 head I was hoping that with the y7 being from the same years that it would match up to but it's the same way as with the z6.

The sensor timing inside the OBD1 and OBD2 dizzys are diffrent so the 91 ECU wont understand it and the car will not run.
