Removing o2 sensor?

Anyone know what the size socket I need to remove an o2 sensor from a 91 dx/si manifold from a crx? i've already got the manifold off the car, just can't figure out how to break that bitch free, are they threaded differently or something?

they are normal thread as far as the way they come out, i dont know what size they are i just soak them with some spray lube and put vice grips or channel locks on them

they make special sockets to take them out that have a groove for the wire to slide into

It's a good idea to use the socket that's made for them. You're WAY less likely to brake it that way. They don't cost very much.

If the manifold is cold it will contract a lil bit making it tough to get it out. If you can , try heating it up, then go for it.

I use a good size crecent wrench and beat the end. That has worked every time Ive taken one off of Junk yard down pipes. It actually doesnt damage the sensor.
