Its federal law to keep a catalytic converter installed on your car. If you remove it and they find out the state has right to seize your car immediately for a violation of some law with the EPA. Other people are going to tell you differently, but this is the truth you can research it in the environmental protection agencie's policies.

Your best bet would just to be get a wiring harness conversion from OBD2-1 and the the OBD1 ECU then you can bypass that second sensor all together.

Uh yeah, and it's also illegal to street race, drink and drive, jay walk, change lanes without using a turn signal, and have sex with 17 year old girls, but that doesn't stop us from doing it. Just get a test pipe.

yea obd1 u can mess with and bypass with a voltage signal to keep it happy, at wot, ur runnin closed loop with set fuel anyways. So ---- the 02
