removing ac

i removed the compressorand the lines that run past the radiator etc. but then the lines go up toward where the battery is etc. should i remove the battery and then take out all of the lines or just leave them as they are? ive never removed an AC before, so im not to sure where to go from there

On the 92-95's there are fittings that sit right under the intake. I just undid the nuts there and left the hoses to sit there, not very hard at all.

let me tell you a story, i forgot the lines were under pressure, so when i pulled the lines from the compressor it blew in my ------- face and it sucked ass.my hands had cuts on them to from wrenching on the car and they burned liek a bitch, thank god i was wearing safety goggles from when i was grinding, otherwise that ---- would have been in my eyes. oh well, worse things could happen. a woman could cut off my penis while im sleeping and throw it out the window of a moving car
