Rear Tranny Mount Question
Is it possible to install the rear tranny mount with the engine in the car?
This is for a 95 Civic with D16Z6. Just want to make sure before I try it tomorrow. Thanks |
Re: Rear Tranny Mount Question
yes, you will have to remove the intake manifold brace though.

Ya and its a pain in the arse.

Re: Rear Tranny Mount Question
pain for a 10 minute job?
You spend more time jacking the car up and placing the jackstands than installing the mount. |
Re: Rear Tranny Mount Question
So just take off the bracket and it slips right in?
Some dousche bag on HT recommended I take of the tranny for it :l |
Re: Rear Tranny Mount Question
you have to lightly force it, nothing too hard. it just takes a little finisse getting it in place.

Re: Rear Tranny Mount Question
Yeah I dont think many people on HT do work on cars... I go on there and the tech questions I ask get the most pointless answers, actually I more go on there to laugh at the people's tech respones... the ---- thats said is just retarded 99% of the time.
