Default rear sub frame or whatever the ---- it's called swap

is it possible to swap the entire rear sub fram unit with the steering ---- on it from a newer civic/del sol (92+) onto an older civic/crx (91-)? I want to make my own crossmember and I'm just concerned with ------- up the placement of those bars that go from the crossmember to the suspension.

so are you trying to actually "subframe" your car or just retrofit it?

I don't know wtf "subraming" would be, I'm just trying to swap that whole pile of ---- from a newer car onto my car, it's looking like I'll just have to man up and measure where the ---- to put those rods on my crossmember when I finally decide my welding ability is good enough to fab it up.

sub-framing a car is putting connectors in place where the frame rails and the uni-tie body meet. Look up a sub frame connector kit for a F body gm car and you'll understand. It makes the vehicle very rigid.

It's a great handling upgrade to do on rwd cars since almost every car is uni-body.
