Re:rear disk brakes conversion

any civic or integra's from 92-00 rear disk barkes will work. You need the rear disks with all the arms and cables for the e-brake. 98ctr

the civic's with rear disc had ABS so you will need to source a 4040 proportioning valve.

you dont need ALL the arms. Just the MAIN trailing arm is all you need w/ the disc brake assembly attached. You will also need ebrake cables from a car w/ rear disks. the prop valve is also something you should look into, try with out. but it's really just he said she said as to if it's really needed. also get the brake lines from a rear disk car.

Did any 92-95 cars come w/ rear disks?

no. accord rear disk will NOT work.

I just won a set on ebay for $162, it has the arms, cables, and lines, no prop valves, it also has abs, do I have to use the abs? or can the conversion be easily done without the abs? it seems to me the kit is completed except for the proportion valve, but do really need that? all want is rear disk brakes that works, I dont need ABS, shouldn't it be possible just to install the parts, hook up the lines, bleed the system, and it ready to go? do I need a different master cylinder? give me as much info you can, thanks!

4040 and MC will just give u better use of those brakes. It will work w/o them but works better w/ them. thats a good deal. how much is shipping? (Those suckers are HEAVY)

the 88-89 Si and all CRX w/ rear drums use a 13/16" master cyl. the 90-91 Si's use a 7/8" it's a direct replacement.
