Re: random code popping up
OXYGEN sensor. just check it out make sure there are no problems with it like wiring or the sensor just might be shity ----

Re: random code popping up
thats what i thought too. so i replaced the oxygen sensor. i was wondering if there was a leak right after the o2 would it cause the sensor to go on and off like i am experiencing.

Re: random code popping up
Incorrectly wired, or some wierd issue.
Is the ECU chipped? Does the car stumble at a highway cruise? Anything else you can think of? |
Re: random code popping up

Re: random code popping up
I have a diagram in my head, and my mspaint skills suck. If you start describing the system as you have it configured I can be of help.

Re: random code popping up
PS - DIY rule of thumb? If YOU wired the sensor according to vowel shifting surrender monkey specifications and then you get a code for said sensor, it's probably not the sensor that's bad.

Re: random code popping up
alright the oe color on the o2 are 2 black 1 green 1 white. the universal is 2 black 1 white 1 blue.
i wired it black to black white to white and blue to green. the code 1 when alway for a while today and then came back on again with a code 43 after i messed with the fpr. would a obd0 computer have anything to do with this, cause i have a 93 civic with an ls. |
