Radiator Fan
 
guys 95 honda civic dx with vtec sohc motor, everything works great, but the radiator fan, it spins when we wire it directly to the battery, but other than that no action, what do I need to look for????

You need to change the sensor that controls the fan.

Either a relay or a coolant sensor.

Just replace the relay with a jumper. It is in the engine bay fuse box. You have to connect the top right and bottom left ones I think. If you are standing over the PS fender that is.

Pocket the relay at the junkyard, and swap it in. Actually take a few, since they tend to go.

Careful with wiring it so the fan stays on at all times. Did that in a crx and the car never gets warm (for occupants) anymore and the engine never warms up. Replaced the right sensor and attached it correctly and now all is well.
