Yep same here, it seemed the jb weld caused it to crack even more.

allumaloy, or acid core solder i think.

i used a radiator/gas tank repair kit from autozone. it was like clay that you mixed together then put it on. it is leaking a little but it think that is because i only let it dry for about 45 minutes before driving. another thing you could try is jb waterweld

JB weld with caution for sure

I cant even remember all the places JB has held up for me, wish the ---- was cheaper though
