quick question about valve lash .007 I .009 E
 
i need to ajust my friends teg valve lash realy quick. i have done this manny times i just forgot what side has a wider gap intake or exhaust. i know its .006- .009 and .008-.011 im prety sure intale was closer gap but it would be nice to get a second opinion....

uhh last time i looked up the specs for my buddy's LS i thought it was like .020-.024 exhaust/.018-.022 intake :l

its been a while since i've done it. But if i remember correctly the intake side has .009 and exhaust is .007

lol. thats so much gap! It should be in the thousandths. I dont know what honda spec is on their cars. but the 4 stroke dirtbikes are I .004 E .005

b16a intake is 006-007, and exhaust 007-008 d series is one number higher, I just did mine 2 days ago

Come on guys, Intake valves always get less lash because the intake air cools them. The exhaust always gets more lash because they get hotter and expand more. And make sure to realize the differance between mm and in. :8

I almost wrote that when i replied, I remember thinking about that when i was adjusting my lash last time.

just thought i'd let yall know :8
