quick question

do i need the si distrubtor for the dpfi to mpfi swap? is it nessacary??

you only need it if you want your car to run. other than that it's unnecessary. The si has a crank position sensor so the injectors know when to fire, dx does not have this since the injectors just spray.

ofcourse! if you want the full multi point swap and want it to work to its fullest! ofcourse use the Si everything if possible!
