hey im new to the import scene n ive found a 1991 Civic dx (std) with a 91 d16a6 engine/tranny (needs a head gasket) 125k on engine.
Clean title
body is perfectcly straight no rust or dents.

momo steering wheel
cd player/ pioneer side speakers
momo shift ****/short shifter
92 si front seats
chikara hedder
si exhuast
pg7 ecu
brand new exedy clutch/less then 50 miles
brand new spark plug wires
new axles/control arms
rear upper and lower sway bars
new head
the guy wants to sell this car for $600 n i was just wondering if its worth the trouble of fixing the head gasket for that price. thanx n any help would be much appriciated.

 

Yeah if all that was actually true I would say jump on the deal.

Most likely those parts are knock offs and the entire motors is blown. Why would he need a new headgasket if the head is brand new?

Something sounds fishy.. but if you just bought the car without motor and all that ---- then it would be worth it.. car kinda sounds like it's been beat up tho
