quad throttle bodies

Has anybody here ever used quad throttle bodies and if so what were your impressions of them? Also does anybody know if there is a great torque advantage over a standard intake when using quad throttle bodies?

Yes jeff (abaz) has experimented with them. They are unique but not the greatest, no theres no tq increase guarantee over a stock im. It all depends on your set up but the fastest all motor race car uses a modified gsr manifold.

ITB's are used more twards the road corse. It supouse to give more power in the top end of the rpm band. As for everyday driving it does NOT have much gain over the standard IM. It all depends on what kind of driving you do. 98ctr

well there wasn't going anything great about the ITB's till you get into the higher RPM.5000rpm+

becuase there runners are rather short. not good for low rpm usage

i had this problem with my 3tc Corolla runing dual DCOE 40mm weber's it run like a turd until i had 3800rpm's and starting making good power at 4500 to 6000 rpm( redline for me ) since honda motors can run little further out i suppose you could use the ITB's for Race or Street race set up... but it will run like ass for low end usage
