I don't like severely upgraded axles on stock transmissions...if the axle doesn't break, where do you think all that abuse is heading? Right into your trans. My friend got a set of Driveshaft Shop "stage 2" axles for his 92 gsr...turned the splines into a twizzler along with the splines on his stock ys1 lsd. All from a hard 4k launch on a 6 puck clutch.

alot of people are in the whole get stage 28 axle fazz right now for some reason. when you really dont even need them if you aint got the power (400+), its pointless.

You can run stock axles up to 7.5's in the 1/8th, easy. When you start dropping into the low 7's and high 6's is where they start breaking.

Most of the 600 whp cars on HT don't run 7.5's in the 1/8th. You only need 300 whp and a couple band-aids on stock suspension to run 7.5's EASILY, but if you don't go there why waste the money?

well finally got the axels but both hubs and studs were missing so after dispute the seller refunded me 300.00 for the replacement cost of new ones (hubs) from DSS. that makes the total cost 0f 250.00 for a set of DSS 3.9 axles brand new. not to bad of a deal, and a friend has a set of hubs (gsr) that he is letting me have free.

they dont have 1/8 mile track here and I'm looking towards the 12's in 1/4 when the build is done
