problems taking my car back to stock.

I took the turbo setup off my car so I can go smog it soon. I pulled everything off, put the stock header back on, etc.

I got some injectors from renr to use, they are OBD1 injectors.

when I tried to start the car after I took it all off the ------- thing wouldn't even turn over, then I realized I hadn't changed the settings on the AFC back to stock.

I changed the settings all back to 0% now and it will turn over, but it sounds as if one cylinder is out.

the car ran fine when it was boosted, w/ no problems whatsoever. the resistors are out the settings are all at 0%. I don't get it. If an injector were "bad" could it possibly not be putting any fuel through? or maybe just a little teeny bit of fuel is coming through? the timing is retarded 3o still from being boosted, but that wouln't make it sound as if it was only running on 3. what the ----? anything you guys can think of?

if all you changed was the injectors, my bet would be one of them is bad. put a screw driver on the metal body of the injectors and put your ear up to the plastic handle (like a stethoscope), they should click, but if one is clicking more than usual, it's prolly bad, this is an easy way to tell, but doesn't always work, or you could just change them out. you sure you didn't knock a plug wire loose or something?

See, you should have taken my injectors. :P

That seems like the only thing it could be, unless you accidently unplugged something while you were working. Check the plugs?

I have had injectors stick from sitting before, sometimes just letting it run will flush them out or even putting jumper wires with a full 12volts to them will clear them out. The old fuel will turn to varnesh(sp?) if left too long. I am not saying this is it I have just seen it a few times when I install used injectors/engines at work. ;)

this might sound dumb, but maybe one of your spark plugs became loose or something, maybe you bumped something, on the dizzy side. just an idea....
