Problems with dpfi-mpfi swap...

I have a 1989 civic ed6.. I know the motor isn't worth ---- but that's ok... I got the mpfi swap from the resource.. and thought i followed it step by step... but obviously i didn't cuz i'm writing this... I'm using everything from an 88 crx si.. ecu, dist., resistor box... When i first finished i had spark, but then i went in to try to figure this ---- out and know i have no spark.. and also the injectors are throughing so much gas that i had fuel in the oil pan.... Before any of this the car ran fine... know it won't start or anything... one of my main confusing problems was moving C1-B10 and C2-B12.. Reason being it said these should be empty and neither one was....another thing is that i hooked up the blue/green to C1 and the blue/yellow to c2... then the red and yellow wires from the injectors to a3 and a7... and still nothing... one more major problem is that the resistor box without being hooked up to any power other than the 4 red/black wires (which r grounds)... attached to the green plug... is showing power... with all this done i'm getting a code 20 electric overload.... any help will be greatly appreciated.... sorry for the story just want everyone to try to understand my problem.... Thank You... it did have an hf manifold on it... so maybe i'm using the wiring description.... ???

diagnosing a no-start on a DPFI-MPFI can be a major pain man.. I would honestly just keep looking over your wiring and double checking things. Be sure to look at a few others "how to DX-SI" wiring swaps, maybe the resource one was wrong (but I doubt it)

Btw, you are using a PM6 or some type of MPFI ecu?

yes i have the pm6 ecu... what i find funny is that when i put the wires back the way they go i don't get any codes but the car won't start... the only problem with that is then i don't have a place for the crank angle sensor... i've checked a few different (swap listings) and they are all about the same... may just have to find someone here in Orland, Fla. to do it for me... thanks...

try swapping the two white( i beleive) wires in the dist harness plugs.. I know that was a prob i ran into when i did mine.
