I apologize if you feel like this guy needs his hand held through this process, but fact is I was not incorrect. I have built plenty of engines priming them by doing nothing more than unplugging the dizzy. It hurts nothing.

I get tired of repeating this because it sounds arrogant, which is not my goal, but heres the short version.

Im a Master certified Porsche tech. I know what the ---- im talking about.

And where does the fuel injection system get it's signals to decide when to fire the injectors?

Anyone?

Yeah, Hitchhikkr is right. Unplug the distributor and you will have no injectors firing.

i recently found out that a chipped ecu will run on the stock maps even with J1 being connected if there is no chip.

i also had a guy in a bar once try to tell me that all cars squirt the injectors all at once. silly rednecks

Um, what? They will run off the limp mode maps, but not the main maps if I am not mistaken. I could be way off base though.

Sequential and bank to bank modes are non existent. DURRRRR :1 :1

Wasnt it the z31 300zx that started out with sequential injection, and they had so many problems they came out with a tech bulletin to turn to to batch fire? :1 :1 :1

Ill see if I can find it, I just remember laughing out loud at nissan failure.

yes it was the 300z, I did a bunch of rewires back to sequential and they would pick up an extra 20 hp and with much better throttle responce. It had to do with the company saving less than 1 dollar on wire. :S
