preping the head for ls/vtec

Hey, I was wondering if anybody had a tutorial for prepping my b16 head for ls/vtec. I know what i have to do (plug the oil gallery, enlarge the dowel pin holes) but I am wondering if anybody did this by themselves. Any info would be much appreciated

Also hit up c-speedracing.com they have a good write up on the ls/vtec

Oh, and I think there is some company making dowls that plug right in that fit both sides head/block. So no machine work would be neccasary. I think it was full-race or Z10, maybe..

noooo. use a 9/16 bit its 1/64 of an inch larger but it wont matter anyway.DO NOT USE A HAND DRILL!! take it to a machine shop if you dont have a drill press and half a brain. a machine shop will do it for you cheap and better.
