prelude --> crx spindle swap

hey i got an awesome price on a set of 16 inch BBS 3 piece road racing wheels (free) only problem is that theyre 4 x 114.3. i need rims cuz i did the junkyard big brake swap. Is there a way that i can get the spindles from a 92-94 prlude to fit and what would i have to do to modify the axles to make it work? My only other options are to get teh wheels redrill from 4 x 100 ( $$$$$ ) or get wheel spacer / adapters made which i do not like the idea of.

cliff notes: need ways to fit 4 x 114 wheels on a 90 crx all four corners.

Re: prelude --> crx spindle swap

Redrill your hubs for 4x4.5 and then find some rotors that will fit the brakes you have now, that are also 4x4.5.

When you start swapping spindles and ----, is when you start ------- up the suspension geometry. Avoid.

just re-drill your spindles and rotors. thats the easiest option

jdm ITR 4 bolt setup. Drilling a new bolt pattern on a set of BBS rims is retarded. Yeah their not made out of gold or anything but a little bit better then your average wheel. Whats so wrong with adapter spacers? Hell I think H & R even makes them also.

Re: prelude --> crx spindle swap

What's bad is that the ones that change your bolt pattern also decrease offset/increase track width 15+mm per side.

And yes, redrilling the wheels is a cost-ineffective way of going about things.

Re: prelude --> crx spindle swap

yea ive thought of all of these plans. i was hoping i could just throw in the prelude spindles and rotors but it doesnt seem very good. the 96 ITR spindle swap was also an option but then i would have the problem with having a d series tranny and b series spindles, an id have to bnend over and get rapped to even get my hands on em. I think im just gunna redrill my spindles and throw on the lude rotors on the front and redrill the rotors in the back. any other ideas plz help me
