I just love it when no one responds. I'm sure it can be done, it probably won't be easy though.

No direct exp here.

If I was to try and do this, I would get the intake mani, distributor, engine harness, engine to ecu harness, ecu, all the sensors from the block (that you didnt score with the intake mani), and any sensors (map) that are connected to the intake mani via wires or vacuum lines. Hell, if you went to a pull a part, this shouldnt cost more than $100 maybe $125.

This was for a carbed CRX right?

Yes, it is being done...
There was some kid in my last shop class that converted his 60s ford pickup from a carburated engine to DPFI, and gained like 10 some horsepower from it alone... But his biggest reason to upgrade was that it was alot easier to have sensors tuning the engine over manually doing it with the carburater.

Its not a cheap swap at all... easier to drop in a new motor if you can, and build the fuel set up from there. You need new fuel lines, fuel pump, fuel relay, etc, etc.

WYes it can be done the best thing to do is buy a wrecked or junked 85-87 Si Civic or CRX.. its going to take a lot of time and money get a Helm so you can see whats all involved in the swap.. As far as the Carbed ford dont forget that many companys make FI conversion kits for carbed V8's and they take some tiem to install but for the most part its a easy Bolt on..

Re:Is this possible???

just sell the car and buy a Si :)

you have to run fuel lines aswell.. A feed line and a return line. You also need a fuel pump, yours wont be able to push enough PSI.
