BTW good luck with the right hand drive conversion, do you think you only have to swap out your dash and a stiring rack? Dude open up your hood and take a good look at your fire wall, do you see what i see? you can't do it, you also have to change your whole firewall, and you know how much time and money that will take it's easyer just to import and legalize another civic then turn yours into "JDM"...

i have been and i talked to the people who r importin the front clip. they said it should all swap. if neone knows if i cant swap it please tell me. now that you guys r tellin me that im wasting my money i am starting to see that i am. so i think im goin to buy another block and build that for now then put a turbo on it thanks guys

 

ok.. look at your car as it is right now, LHD. see that fire wall. see the lip that runs from one side to another. and then it has a hump for the brake boost. do u see that on the other side? do u see the mounting bolts?

 

ummmmm....... the only thing you'll really be able to bolt up would be the complete engine swap, headlights, fenders, bumper etc., no, it's not a "bolt up" process to convert your car to rhd, i don't care who told you it is, it isn't :P

yeah, for the money you would have spent on a clip and having it shipped, and the engine installed, etc., etc., you can build a mean *** turbo setup for less than half of what you would have spent and make a lot more power......

 

yea well me and my brother were gonna do all the work so it wouldnt cost money but the guy told me it would jus swap but i guess not its cool tho im goin to make a pimped sohc vtec now i am lookin to buy a d16z6 block for cheap so i can build it cuz i have an extra head right now thanks again austin
