Re:Pics of IACV and FITV..?
the IACV is on the back of the Intake Manifold. It is about the size of .. a small can of shaving gel. its grey/silver with a white plastic end where the connector plugs in. It's a cylinder shapge about 1.5" in DIA.
the FITV iI think is under the TB. atleast it is on EF civic/crx's |
Re:Pics of IACV and FITV..?
is the fast idle on the the bottom of the tb itself cause my tb doesnt have anything to take off just a couple of coolant lines running strait from one side to another but a tb from my buddies 95 hatch has what i think the fast idle is bolted to the bottom.

ok.. then check on the back of the IM on the far driver side there should be a sensor w/a vac line, ,that might b it.

Re:Pics of IACV and FITV..?
i'll check today. It's either those two things i'm gonna replace, or just change to another IM from another civic. Or it could be the 0 degrees we been having lately in New England. I drive the car for 30 min on the highway, and my trmp gauge barely moves up to were it's supose to be. This winter sucks big time.

Re:Pics of IACV and FITV..?
well you should have said that before man! haha neither of those two has anything to do w/ your temp's. is the gauge moving even a little bit? if yes it's my bet that your thermostat is stuck open.

Re:Pics of IACV and FITV..?
yea..today driving back from work. the weather changed a lil, it got warmer outside and the gauge did move to normal temp, after driving for 10 min. I'm still gonna replace the intake mani, or at least those two sensors. tell u guys tommorro
