From auction

Maximize Tire Wear
Most front wheel drive vehicle's transmissions are equipped with open differentials. This causes both front wheels to spin completely separate from each other without any control over tire spin. In most driving conditions, one of the front wheels will spin at a much higher speed than the other, causing one tire to wear more. Many tire wear problems such as vibrations, vehicles pulling to one side, tire noises, and blow outs, are causes of un-equal tire wear.
I love that they put that in there. The open dif is the only thing keeping your tire wear even. Some people will beleive whatever sounds good.

they mean uneven wear from people doing one-wheel burnouts most likely, lol. anyway, ive heard the horror stories of borken diffs and ----, but for the money it seemed to work well (ie: both tires spun)
