People with knowledge B16A 92 Integra Throttle cable issues

So a lot of ---- has happened since I finished the hardest part of the swap, and test drove the car. Almost lost the WRX when the mechanic that did the transmision swap did not put a nut on the ball joint, the wheel poped out of the control arm and the axle also poped out. Luckily I was doing 25 when it happened. This happened last tuesday and that weekend I was in Miami, if it would have happened on the highway while I was doing 85-90 I could have died.

Anyhow, so I'm back working on the Integra and the bracket for the throttle cable does not line up to the hole on the Intake Manifold. I can make a bracket to make it work it's no biggie, but the question is will it work, or do I have to get a different throttle cable?

I don't have too much time to work on the car, and would like to know if it works before wasting a couple of hours making the bracket for it not to work.

Thanks

the B18a cables are a little longer than the B16 if i remember correctly.

Whenever i end doing the swaps for my customer and i dont get a good cable or bracket, ill oder up a new cable and bracket from the dealer.

get it for a 94-97 delsol b16 and the bolt holes will line up. get the cable for the same and you will be good to go.

bracket is about 10bux cdn so aroud 6-8 bux usd. cable is generally around 35-40 cdn, approx 25-30usd

get the bracket, but try the B18 cable, im not too sure about that.

good luck

Makes sense, what I'm getting is that the car doesn't seem to rev as high as it should, so if the cable is longer it won't open as much as it should.

I tried to adjust it as much as it went but it was not enough. I'll try to make a braket to move it back a little and try to extend it.

Thanks

That's why I do all my work, everything, but did not have the time to do the transmission swap myself so I paid for it, and it was a big ass mistake, ----------er. The first time I use a mechanic ever..... >:( >:( >:(

It's my father's mechanic, I'm my own mechanic, but yeah, it hasn't been good. I think I could sue him, but I'm not about to waste time on that.
