Re: PCV pump. What you think?
Why are you thinking up all these dumb ideas for PCV evacuation, when you aren't going to be making any real power? Just vent that ---- to atmosphere and stop wasting your time.
|
Re: PCV pump. What you think?
Don't worry about WHY I'm doing ---- ::)
All I want is some input on whether or not you guys think this will work. |
Re: PCV pump. What you think?
How about you try something for yourself for once instead of making 5 threads a day asking retarded questions :3
|
Re: PCV pump. What you think?
I don't make "5 threads a day asking stupid ----" I'm just trying to find out if anyone else has done this before me. Thats what this forum is for.
|
Re: PCV pump. What you think?
Half of your threads are unnecessary and can be answered with a quick search.
|
Re: PCV pump. What you think?
Can you answer this one with a quick search?
|
Re: PCV pump. What you think?
Just search PCV setups fool. How many people do you see running a pump?
If you want to try something different then go ahead and do it. We aren't going to hold your hand and give you approval for every part you buy. |
Re: PCV pump. What you think?
That pump seems to be for fluid, in which case it would prolly overheat if you're using it for air
|
Re: PCV pump. What you think?
But Jago life without your approval is just unacceptable :-*
I'll just ------- try it and hope for the best.

Thats the kind of response I was looking for. Thanks. Anyone else second this opinion? |
Re: PCV pump. What you think?
If it will shut you up I'll second it ::)
"Hey guys someone just answered my question. Can I get a few more approvals before I do anything or even attempt to figure something out myself?" :1 |
Re: PCV pump. What you think?
That pump probably wont do dick, since it is for fluid.
Just vent it, or hook a catch can and a vacuum line to the intake and be done. |

Just vent it, or hook a catch can and a vacuum line to the intake and be done. It says self priming, so I was thinking that it would pull a vacuum. I'm not sure how I would keep it from over heating though ??? |
Re: PCV pump. What you think?
i will work for a little bit but wil overheat pretty quick since there is no fluid going through it.
im pretty sure they sell some small vaccum pumps there though |

Re: PCV pump. What you think?
Smog pump run off the accessory portion of the crank pulley or an electric one.
|
Re: PCV pump. What you think?
Torgan I've heard of people using A/C compressors to run a vacuum. I've got a few laying around, just not sure how much of a vacuum that would create. what do you think?
|
Re: PCV pump. What you think?
If you're doubting a crank powered compressor I would get an electric smog pump off ebay or something... less fab work (brackets and belts and ---- to go wrong) and $40.
