P28 w/ ZC

Re:P28 w/ ZC
so i'm guessing you're putting the zc in an eg civic. i just got it running good im my eg hatch due to the damn ecu situation. dx has no *****. ls runs too rich and kills the power bad. i never tried the z6 but i'm sure with the cam and vtec setup it sucks too. ended up getting a chip programmer and burned the p29 code...the obd1 zc. it runs awesome. the only problem is that it won't open in uberdata. i also found the p29 code from australia which i think opened correctly in uber but i have yet to test it. i don't even know if/how that code runs the engine NA. i'm finishing up the setup in the next couple of days so i should be able to let you know soon how things go...........hopefully!!!

Re:P28 w/ ZC
kool so your using the p29 file? Where did you find that basemap from? If so can you please post that bin file up so I can burn it for him once we get the motor swap done. My plan was to use the ls p75 bin file and retune it for him with my wideband. But if you have p29 file send it my way to tsoumpholphakd@neb.rr.com Because we need to get this car up and running by tomorrow, so this would save me time from tuning it from the p75 bin file. The swap should be done by today or tomorrow depending on the time we have. We're using a chipped p28 running uberdata. Well if it doesnt open in uberdata then its kool. I'll just burn it onto the chip and get the car rolling.

Re:P28 w/ ZC
i got the "essentials" done with the turbo and oz p29 running. it idols around 2000 but i think it might be a combo of just a 1' downpipe and open throttle body so hopefully once it's all hooked together hopefully it'll come down a bit.
how bout you racer?

Re:P28 w/ ZC
Hey we finished up the swap and started up with the bin you email me. It idles a little high, before it was hella high, can't remember what rpm, but it was due to fact that we had vacuums leaks. It would be around 650-800 when idling once we fixed the leaks. But we had some fuel leaking from the fuel rail from the fuel line, and we decided to stop. We couldnt get the banjo bolt to tighten properly, so it was shooting fuel like 8 ft in the air So we havent really even tested it. It just sat in the driveway. But it was a good file though.
