Overheating Issue due to a water leak?
I have a 93 civic si with stock everything. I recently changed the radiator to fluidyne radiator. I already had an overheating issue before i changed it to fluidyne. I would check the radiator every so often and found that it always empty or have a little bit of fluid left.
The overfull reservior would often be empty. I already changed the themostat with new gasket. I check all the pipes and made sure that there was no cracks or leaks. I even started the car for 30 mins to see if it may be leaking from anywhere. No signs that i can see with the eye. The fan turns on when it gets a bit hot. I bled the system to make sure there was no trapped air in there.
The only reason why i think the car would overheats is when there is insufficient coolant/water in it. Other than that the car would not overheat. I'm totally confused and not sure what the problem may be. I think there could be a possible chance that there may be a leak coming from the water pump. (Not sure yet, just a thought)

well the coolant has got to be goin sumwhere...try a cyclinger leak down test maybe the headgasket is going bad...or maybe its a leak that u cannot see...so if the clt turns out good try putting sum dye into ur coolant and use a UV light if u have access to them...sum times the most minor leaks can cause the most trouble

check for a malfunctioning water pump. Make sure the coolant is flowing...not sitting still being pushed by a broken fan. You can also check the weeping hole to see if it leaks. Which is under the TB cover. GL with the fix.

in this case, TB = Timing Belt, not Throttle Body incase you got confused (cuz i did for a second). lol

how do you check to see if its really leaking from the TB = timing belt area? Cuz i think i have the same symptoms of water leaking but cant really locate where the leak is coming from.
