overboring an d16a9??
Hey guys
as i was driving home last weekend the engine in my crx got kinda wierd i lost most power and the car was all screwy :D so i checked when i came home and there it was, smoke spewing out where the oil dipstick and the oil cap on the valve cover is. In my book thatīs a piston ring gone bad or a whacky piston, any other thougths on that ? And also i have another d16a9 or a6 (havenīt really checked :) which iīm gonna put in but i was wondering, do they have larger pistons for these engines , iīve mostly been working with the chevy engines and was wondering if they overbore the japanese ones or what? if not are there any parts of the engine i should hang on too. Thanks guys and sorry if my english is crap :D |
