Re: Oil squirters on block

in my honda book i got awhile back b4 i knew something they were talking about it, says they have them to helf transfer heat away from the main bearings and connecting rod, but later on in one of them they take them out on a gsr build turbo, said they really werent needed as they added extra weight to the rotating assembly.

Re: Oil squirters on block

most people only remove them whn they go with forged internals. they arent completely necesary but help with cooling the stock pistons. also you get a oil pressure raise when you plug them up too. id leave them if you have stock pistons.
