Oil Pan leak in b16a
 
Yep got an oil pan leak appearently. How do i go about fixing it? what can be causing it to leak? broken gasket?

broken gasket or if u bottomed out and hit the pan the flat part that seals might be bent or sumthign so it isn't sealing properly
i woudl jsut dorp your pan and look at it...and plan on doing a gasket then if u need a new oil pan see if u can find one for cheap.

yeah the oil pan gasket gets dried out and hard and oil starts to leak.do you know how old the gasket is?original stock gasket?

It should be quite new, the guy i bought the car from had just done the swap, and changed the oil pan himself. might not of done it correctly.

I had an oil pan leak a while ago, let out all the oil. I found out it was coming from the drain, damn bumps in the road and cheap ass "I fucked up my thread" plug.
