Default Oil orifice jet ejaculator spaculator

Yeah, that jet in SOHC non VTEC motors, WTF does it do? If I were to put a non VTEC head on a VTEC block what would happen if I didn't have that oil jet in there? I'm not seeing anything wrong with not having it there. Anybody want to tell me otherwise before I find out the hard way?

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about, but it's kinda reverse. I'm putting a non VTEC head on a VTEC block.

I'm just going to assume I might have too much oil pressure in the head and lose a little on the bottom end? I hope that doesn't burn my bearings up......

Haha, ya the oil orifice jet needs to be in there, all the oil will go into the head and the bottom end will probably burn up quickly. The Vtec heads control the oil pressure thourgh the Vtec SSV. So you will need to install the oriface back into the deck of the block before you install the non-vtec head.

Boy, I bet they cost a whole 8 dollars at the dealer, lol... I have a bunch in the garage, but by the time I take it out and actually ship it to you, that could be several weeks
