Default oil in my intake manifold?

2day i pulled my intake off my civic 2 change out the speed sensor wen i pulled it .. there was a grip of oil inside the intake itself and the manifold its a rebuilt b7 with a y8 gasket and a6 pistons .... only about 25k on motor wat would cause oil 2 be in the intake .. iacv is bad so its unpluged and its idleing way high does that have anything 2 do with it>? and also the plugs look hella coverd in oil and it blows alot of white smoke but the headgasket is fine?

first are you sure the smoke is white and doesnt have a blue tint to it.. just white smoke is signs of a HG and blue tinted smoke could mean rings, valve seals depending on what rpm it smokes at.. a little oil is to be expected becuase of the pcv will deposit some in it , but if there is excessive oil you may be looking at internal problems

do a compression test, change your pcv valve if equipped and make sure the valve cover has a good breather on it and get back to us

i dnt think there are any problems internaly tho because it was just rebuilt and the idle is way high at like 2000... so it could be runing rich maybe?

compression test dont play the shouldnt game. Follow the ways of smart troube shooting. if not keeping saying it shouldnt. Motors blow up its what they do check and recheck and have a panic attack then you'll know whats up

if your blowin white smoke on a fresh engine, i'd take that car right back to whoever rebuilt it, if it was you, i'd kick your own ***. it's normal for oil depsosits to accumulate inside the intake manifold due to the pcv system, dirt, condensation, etc etc, so i'm curious if you actually seen oil puddles somewhere. as far as the new headgasket goes, i've seen cheap 3 layer gaskets smoke for about 5 to 10 min until the engine heated up enough to allow the gasket to seal up. if your not seeing any amounts of blue smoke, make sure you have someone follow you, get them to check on normal accel, WOT and high rpm deccel, that will tell you what's goin on.
