OBX Cams
Have a guy that wants to trade me a set of OBX cams for an LS and was wondering if they were any good. From what I've been able to find so far, guys running B16's have been running into issues with the rocker pads getting chewed up, but a lot of them where turning 9200 to 10k and had stiffer springs. Haven't been able to find much on these cams in an LS. I know that OBX isn't the most reputable company out there, but has anyone here ever used these? Any input would be appreciated.

Re: OBX Cams
So far every one that I have talked to that has used them in a non-vtec set up has had pretty good luck with them. For some reason, most people that are having problems with them are running v-tec set ups. I would venture to guess that with the hardened core of the cams and the stiffness of the valve springs, especially when double sprung and the higher rpm's, would for sure tear up the rocker pads. but what the hell. If they don't work, got a spare head, so might as well give em a shot.
