obd2 gsr motor in 95 civic dx
this car im lookin to buy has a 01 gsr motor swap in it.. its a 95 dx..
seems they used the obd2 engine harness and then connected that to the shock tower... added vtec/nock but not the 2nd o2 the car currently is running a obd2 computer.. so im guessing they got a obd1- obd2b conversion harness.. to use that ecu now if i get the car im gonna want to use my chipped p28 will i have to rewire any of the engine harnesss? will i need a obd1 distributor? injectors? altenator?? i searched but all i can find is ppl converting from obd2 - obd1 ex. 96-00 civic using a obd1 engine.. where they do need to change all that stuff..this is the opposite.. any info would be great thanks but the engine harness is obd2 from the gsr the motor was out of.. do i just put my p28 in and be good? |
Re: obd2 gsr motor in 95 civic dx
well depends on how they did it really. If you want to go obd1 get a obd1 engine harness and add vtec plug in p28 and your done. make sure the used adpater harness and dint cut/splice becasue if they did your buying a nice headache
