i just blew my rings and swapping my obd2 b18b witha 95 bi8b, but i'm re-using the dizzy, and starter alternator etc.. but just wanted too know if the dizzy would work, and what i notice was the obd2 motor has a crank sensor or someshit and my new obd1 motor doesn't have it? will this effect how my swapp goes? thanks

the dizzys work fine in obd 1 or 2, the crank sensor is sitting on the oil pump in OBD 2 but you wont have any probles except maby the plug being diffrent

no no no!!!! you will have a big fat *** check engine light in your face at all times... you have to switch ur oil pump and sensor (u'll see when u pull off the timing belt cover). Don't get this confused w/ the crank sensors in the dist., this is just extra obd2 bullsh*t and will not effect performance. The dizzy will work fine... also, you'll have to swap injectors too (obd1/obd2 plugs differ)... if your car is converted to obd1, don't worry about the oil pump sensor, but if ur still obd2, u'll get to look at cool check light everyday.

hey thanks guys. I feel better now. And yes by the way my car is coverted too obd1 as far as coversion harness, and a chiped p06 with uberdata. Thanks for the helpful info.
