obd0 to obd2 convertion possible?
 
does anyone know a link that have the write up conversion obdo to obd2 , i know hastport got the plug up one , i was just wondering if anybody wrote a write up for it. so i can just do it.

well im getting this d16y8 fully rebuilt for a grand with turbo and its running obd2 so i wanted to convert my obd0 to obd2 so i can get the swap ,
turbo motor running 17 psi running high 12 1/4 mile

you convert the engine to obd0, not your car to obd2 ;) or you could convert both to obd1 and kind of meet in the middle ;)

I agree. I have Obd2 and i was going to convert to Obdo. will i lose my alarm system?

No, because your alarm operated from things that are seperate from what controls your motor.

your alarm will be fine, however you will not be able to use your headlights, wipers, hazards, or trunk light due to the obd incompatbilites.

Obd1 has more options when it comes to tuning, and electronic controls, obd2=CEL all over
