OBD0 to OBD1 crx conversion.... dizzy and injector wiring questions!?!?!?!?!?!?!

ok, heres whats happening .... ive got a 90 dx thats been converted to multipoint and has a d16a6 in it ... which is a fast dying motor right now ...
what i am going to do is put in the JDM D15B, get a ond0 to obd1 conversion harness and run the correct ecu, the p08... this way no ghey activation switches and im running the propper maps...

now from what i thought i could just slap on the crx si dizzy by modifying the legs and call it a day, but what my friend is telling me is that i have to use an obd1 dizzy and custom wire it..... is this true when converting to obd1????

it seems really dumb that i would have to do this, cause isnt that the job of the conversion harness???? to run everything to its right place so i dont have to do this ----?!?!?!?!?!

also it was to my understanding that the need for a resitor box depends on what injectors you are using, now on which ecu u are running .... in example i thought that if i continued to use my obd0 injectors even with the obd1 ecu, i would keep the resistor box in cause the injector is the same... is this wrong???? my friend is telling me that even iff i keep the obd0 injectors i have to ditch the resitor box.. is this true!!!!

thanks for all your help guys, this is the last bit of info a really need to get this swap done!!!

thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!

Yes you need a obd-1 dizzy, you just keep your injectors and resistor box. some wirring dose need to be done at the distributor.

yeah, i just read that i need to use the obd1 dizzy, and just repin color for color ....

i may just go ahead and switch over to the obd1 clips and injectors ..... the ones from the d16a6 have 190k on them

and let me get this straight real fast .... if i use the obd1 injectors, i should solder the 4 wires together and run them to the 2 yellow/black wires from the original mpfi conversion right???? and thats all that needs to be done?

im going to run the po8 ... thats the ecu for that soch vtec 1.5l ...... its obd1 but for some reason still runs a 1 wire o2 .... very cool, less wires for me ..

if you already have a resistor box just make your life easier and use the obd0 injectors.

I just finished putting a minime in my dx hatch and its easier if you get a obd0 to obd1 conversion harness. JDMshit.com has a good one for like $119 shipped and it comes with a piggyback harness for the injectors, o2 sensor(4 wire), and some other stuff. Solder the 4 yellow/black wires from injectors to the 2 yellow/black wires from injectors on original harness. The distributor you have to repin your stock ecu harness(2 pins) and run the wires to the 2 extra wires on the obd1 distributor.
