O2 sensor or something else?

When i swapped my rex to b16 i got cel for the o2 sensor. so i replaced it then on part throttle power surges i can feel it bad on freeway at 60-70mph on part throttle. lower gears its not too noticeable but i still feel the loss of power. could this be something besides o2 sensor? Also i have the 2 02 wires connected and sensor is just before the cat on header

sorry, just to clarify, you have ONE o2 sensor and its a 2-wire sensor? what ecu are you using?

I think the o2 sensor should be closer to the exhaust ports.

Re:O2 sensor or something else?

i am running a pr3 ecu (but i got my zdyne today!!!!) the ecu expects 2 o2 sensor inputs, my aftermarket header has 1 02 sensor bung on it i just connected the 2 wires from the ecu to the one sensor

Re:O2 sensor or something else?

Your surging was cause' the PR3 expects O2a to read #1,#4 and O2b to read #2,#3 (or something like that). Wire it any other way, and it'll surge in closed loop.

I had that problem when boosting on the PR3. Put both O2's in the DP. Irritated the ---- outa me.

Now you can just run openloop all the time with your Zdyne, problem solved. :)

No way to 'rig'. Either they read the right cylinders or not. :P
With a Zdyne running in constant open-loop, it would be fixed via ignoring the O2's altogether.

I switched to OBD1.
