Default notching block with I-beam rods?

I am building a y8 with tt I-beam rods. I was wondering if I need to notch the block. I know that you have to with h-beams.

where the hell did you get tuner toys i-beam rods from?

if i were you i would put them in and see if they hit, but sounds like you haven;t bought them yet right? i was under the impression that you only have to notch the block with h beam rods, but i don't know for a fact.

There are only a couple rods taht do not need notching. I would suggest that you plan on doing it. Won't hurt anything.
