i was wondering if it was neccessary to notch your block if you are using Eagle rods? i have seen people do it, but i was just wondering if it needed to be done? will the rod hit your cylinder walls? anything would help... thanks

There is only one type of major rod that you don't have to notch. It is like the crower i-beam or something. But 95% of them need notching.
